I hate the feeling of failure, I can get really glum, completely demotivated and just down because no matter how hard I try, I don’t seem to succeed at weight loss. Maybe it’s down to will power and I cannot succeed on will power alone.
I emptied our fridge and cupboards, gave all the sweets to my neighbour and changed our entire kitchen storage to healthy alternatives from fat free yoghurt to fruits and vegetables and still nothing worked. My work requires that I sit for extended periods in front of the computer, sometimes I can sit for up to twelve hours without moving, no exercise and just stuffing my face as I go. Obviously not the situation you want to be in, that is a recipe for disaster.
As I saw the weight piling on and my clothes getting tighter I told my husband it was time for change, due to my long working hours making a proper evening meal wasn’t on the cards, so I made quick meals, sometimes unhealthy microwave meals just so we had something to eat.

This experience showed me results while I was still enjoying my boot camp holiday, this motivated me to continue with this when I returned home and both me and my husband are now thinner and healthier than we have been in years.
